MOI's design ideology welcomes the imperfect and the edgy, and the Charis Statement Drop Earrings are designer jewelry doing exactly that. A geometric spin on traditional floral motifs, each earring is worked in 14K gold on a rutile quartz base and embellished with natural brilliant-cut diamonds and blue topaz. Because rutile inclusions form differently in every crystal, no two pairs are quite alike. Fine gemstone jewelry with a signature pop of color.

note from the designer
Puja's journey with art and design started in New York, where she was formally trained in jewelry design at the Fashion Institute of Technology. She worked at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Brooklyn Museum of Art, discovering India’s incredible heritage in crafts, materials, and techniques, which is where her deep fascination with the history and beauty of traditional Indian jewelry began. She is deeply inspired by the exquisite textiles, jewelry, furniture, and household artefacts of the 19th and 20th centuries that use materials and techniques inherent to India but are influenced by Persian, European, and Asian cultures.

We design with a reverence for fitting the right gemstones into a piece that honours balance and symmetry.
